my name is Karen, and I am the one woman show behind dog gone gear. i started this business after my pup had a mild illness that caused massive drooling. to help with his drool, i used my own bandanas and buffs on him, and he loved wearing them. i looked for dog bandanas for him and didn't love what I was finding, so I decided to create my own. i inherited a sewing machine from my lovely crafty mother in law, and have had "sew" much fun creating cute creations for him and decided to turn this into my own business.
my dog Clark is the model. Clark is 5 years old and I adopted him when he was a 3 month old puppy. he is a shepherd/ husky/ labrador/ retriever mix and is a rescue from Northern Manitoba.

our bandanas and bow ties are designed to slide over a standard adjustable dog collar. they work best on our custom dog gone gear adjustable dog collars. you don't need to worry about the bandana or bow tie falling off or bothering your doggo! all of our bandanas, bow ties and collars are handmade and custom sized to fit your furry best friend! bandanas and collars come in 4 sizes. want to see a colour or print we don't offer right now? please let us know.
